I don’t like anything ‘blocked’, so I have no intention to use the new editor.
On my dashboard, going to All Posts, on the upper left corner, there is a button reading New Post. Next to it is a downward arrow. Clicking on it gives me the option to start a new post either with the block editor or the classic one.
Every other old post, when I hover over with the mouse it too gives the classic editor option.
I don’t know if you have these options, but you might want to try to find out.
While it is more annoying not to be able to click once and start work, I find it easier to use the classic editor, and not have trouble with photos disappearing from the post itself.
This is Arizona and a pool is a necessity, especially in the Phoenix area. We are in Tucson and we have a pool. We use it mostly for exercise during the summer. I may install a solar pool heater to extend the swimming season. Even with a couple of days earlier this week in the 90’s (unusual) the pool temperature was in the low 70’s.
Stay safe and let us know when you get settled. We know it may take a while so no push from us. The grand kids are keeping us hopping lately and we have to get ready for the holidays. It is almost time for me to get out the trains.
lol!!! Great to see u on line

Thanks. Posting from my phone precludes the use of the classic editor.
Once again…the day the classic editor completely goes away is the day I stop blogging.

From what I hear, you’ll need to turn on the A/C for us when we get to Buckeye next week. 🙂

Thanks, sir.
Not so sure about the A/C…the low temps in your part of AZ will be in the 30s next Mon-Wed.

Sounds like winter. We do use the heat pump quite a bit, especially in January and February.

I don’t think you bought a house with a pool, so having a house with a view of a pool is the next best thing! Mazel!

We did buy a house with a pool; my wonderful wife insisted.
